Update on Revising HOA Governing Documents
May 18, 2026 Update

The Board is currently working on revising the DRAFT documents adding clarification as needed and requested by homeowners.  If you haven't yet submitted your questions or comments on the DRAFT documents, please do so quickly so we can continue to move forward toward our goal of having legitimate governing documents in place for our Association.  Redlined DRAFT documents will be distributed to homeowners for review once the revisions are completed.

The good news is the draft documents have sparked conversations among our homeowners.  If you hear anything that makes you question the draft documents, the Board or the Board's intention, please reach out and ask a Board member.  Your concerns can only be addressed if you bring it to the Board's attention.  Remember, the Bylaws specify what actions the Board can take.

In case you missed it, on Tuesday, April 7, the HOA Board met with homeowners to review draft documents revising our current governing documents -- the Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and Declaration of Covenant Control Requirements.  The meeting, attended by the Board, approximately 30 homeowners and counsel from Altitude Law (who drafted the new governing documents), included a well informed Q&A.  Several homeowners who had reviewed the drafts raised substantive questions and recommended additional revisions before the community votes.  The Board is actively working through those issues and comments, evaluating potential changes and making changes where needed.

Many of our current governing documents were written some 40 years ago, before our homes were built.  Updating is necessary to reflect current conditions and ensure compliance with evolving Colorado law.  The Board will continue to share progress and next steps with the community.
